Operation Cleft Surgeon: Dr Zaman

Professor Dr. Muhammad Quamruzzaman (Dr. Zaman) completed a MBBS degree at Dhaka Medical College in 1987. Dr. Zaman started his teaching career at the Pathology Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He underwent specialized training in plastic and microsurgeries in Bangladesh as well as in India, the USA, and the Netherlands. He has been engaged in the management of facial clefts since 2000. Dr. Zaman and his team arrange cleft surgeries in more than 13 places all over the country besides Dhaka.

Dr Zaman joined Operation Cleft at its inception in 2005, then worked with DCKH since 2009.  He is now supported by Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe in conjunction with Operation Cleft Australia, the supporters of Cleft Bangladesh, in performing cleft lip and palate operations in Bangladesh.
