Dear  $FIRST_NAME$

September has been an inspiring month for our club! We kicked off with a visit from Team BEAP (Bee Education And Protection) from Parkmore Primary School – Ez and Jake’s passion for environmental education was truly uplifting.

Our Grand Final Breakfast, led by Julian Badenach, brought the community together in record numbers, raising $10,000 for SALT. A fantastic example of Rotary spirit in action!

Globally, our OTA project initiated by Mark Balla, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Udaipur Meera (India), secured a US$88,423 Global Grant to improve sanitation and education across six schools in Piplantri, Rajasthan – showing the powerful impact of international collaboration.

Locally, our Community Garden project at the Whitehorse Community Shed received a District Grant of AUD$11,940. Thanks to John Elrington and Stephen Matter for their leadership in making this happen.

Through the Dance Against Dementia event, supported by Brian MacPhail, our club donated AUD$3,500 to the Umbrella Dementia Café, continuing our long-term support of this vital initiative.

Looking ahead, October promises more excitement. I warmly invite everyone to join us for a. Diwali celebration on October 11 – a night of fun, friendship, and community spirit. Book today.

Thank you for your energy, commitment, and the difference you make in our community and beyond.

Warm regards,
Wendy Zhang
