Addressing Classroom Hunger: volunteers welcome

We welcomed Dr Heena Cheung, Independent Candidate for Box Hill at our local hands on project Addressing Classroom Hunger, assisting local primary schools with students without lunch.  Many thanks to our volunteers.  It was fun. Next opportunity Wed Oct 14 10-11am at Forest Hill Chase food court. Text Robyn 0406 607 310 if you can join us.

Delivering safe sustainable water where its needed.
Exciting progress with the transformer installation project in Shurmo, Ethiopia to help facilitate access to sustainable safe water for thousands. The need to replace the deisel generator was highlighted during a Nov 2025 team visit to Ethiopia, as diesel procurement was becoming more difficult, and costs were escalating, resulting in unreliable water distribution.

This project is co-funded through Operation Toilets - We Can't Wait with contributions from partnering Rotary clubs and local community and facilitated through International Needs Australia and their local lead partner BBBC.

Soon to commence operation. A great achievement team. See more photos following.
