Dear $FIRST_NAME$
Following our club forum on 1 April, I would like to sincerely thank all members who participated and contributed so thoughtfully. A special thank you to Bianca Lobo for her excellent facilitation of the brainstorming session. The quality of the discussion reflects the strength, diversity, and commitment within our club.
By connecting these insights with our club strategy and the Rotary Action Plan, we have a clear opportunity not only to refine what we do, but also to rethink how we create impact. This includes focusing on the most pressing community needs, strengthening partnerships with the wider community, and creating meaningful engagement opportunities for both existing and prospective members.
To support this direction, we invite each of us to explore three key areas:
- Being more deliberate in defining and prioritising our target volunteer segments
- Strengthening and clearly communicating our value proposition—why we exist, the impact we create, and what it means to be part of our initiatives and projects
- Providing more flexible, interest-led pathways for engagement that align with people’s passions and availability
For further details, please refer to the “Aligning with our Community” paper, shared by Liz Stinson via email on behalf of the Club Board on 23 April.
As we approach our Club Information Night on 28 May, I encourage all members to work together to make this a great success. Whether by inviting guests, sharing our story, or supporting on the day, every effort counts. All our readers invited to register and attend.
What makes our club special is our people. When we come together, support each other, and stay open to new ways of getting involved, we can continue to grow our impact in the community.
Please note no Wednesday breakfast meeting May 29 in lieu of Mazaj dinner.
Let’s keep moving forward United for Good.
Warmly,
Wendy Zhang
President 25/26
