Late last Rotary year, our board approved funding of $3,484 to Strathdon House for the purchase of a number of wheelchair accessible raised planter boxes plus associated equipment such as side tables, self-watering kits, and a cold frame.

 

Assembly and installation of the VegTrug raised beds at the Orchard Precinct and filling with enriched garden soil, took place last week through the efforts of club volunteers John, Liz, Julian, Tim with Strathdon manager Marisa.

Lots of fresh veggies now expected!
