Dear  $FIRST_NAME$

February invites us to reflect on our community's future while celebrating the traditions and connections that bring us together. This month, our activities are thoughtfully aligned with these themes of growthinclusion, and togetherness.

Fostering Connection: Member Behind the Badge
To strengthen the personal bonds within our community, we invite you to a focused "Member Behind the Badge" session on Wednesday, 4th February. This is our chance to learn more about the passions and stories of our two wonderful new members, Denise Massoud and Andrew Munroe.

Project Updates: Community & Youth Services, and Environmental Sustainability
Please join us on Wednesday, 11th February, when Malcolm Chiverton and John Elrington will present progress on our Community & Youth Services and Environmental Sustainability projects. This is a valuable opportunity to learn about the impactful work and contribute your ideas.

Strategic Focus: Engaging Our Younger Generations
A vital priority for our club is ensuring we actively include and empower the next generation. Leading this crucial initiative is our youngest Board Director, Bianca Lobo (D&I and Culture), who will guide a dedicated discussion at our Board Meeting on Thursday, 19th February. Your insights on how we can better engage younger members are essential to our long-term vitality.

Global Impact: "I Am Someone"
Under the steadfast leadership of Tess Brooks, we continue our proud support of the international charity “I Am Someone.” Your contributions are directly creating life-changing educational opportunities for vulnerable students around the world.

Stories
Changing lives through vocational training support.

The Rotary Club of Box Hill Central has played a key role in supporting the life-changing work of the international charity ‘I Am Someone’, directly contributing to the tertiary education of vulnerable students.

The club’s contributions included funding the tertiary fees for two students, Gift and Immaculate in Uganda. Immaculate—a standout scholar now studying social work at university.  Immaculate achieved the highest grades of any student in the ‘I Am Someone’ program and dreams of one day leading its Ugandan operations.
