This coming Wednesday, in addition to our speaker Howard Tankey, we will also review the Rotary Community Group East Growth Plan proposal for decision regarding our clubs engagement.

Congratulations to Stephen Mather, with Brian Martin and Diane Fisher for approval of District Grant 11 Smile Baby, Bangladesh.

Congratulations to Julian Badenach for leading a very successful Grand Final Breakfast. $5,175 was raised for Sport and Life Training, including a $1,144 contribution from RCBHC.

Three further volunteers needed for Whitehorse Rotary Farmers Market BBQ, early shift 7:30-10:00am on Sunday Oct 13. Please advise Robyn ASAP.

Book the date Wed Oct 30, for our club social dinner.

Our Grand Final Breakfast #2024 was again a great success for the club!

Congratulations Julian for leading the team. This annual event has roles which include but not restricted to:

venue booking & menu confirmation
liaison with SALT and confirmation of speaker
create/update event flyer
room decoration (banners, balloons, streamers)
table program & seating plan (design and printing)
booking links/QR for event & raffle tickets (preparation and management)
ticket promotion (club bulletin, District Highlights, past attendees, cold call invitation, social media)
call for and assembly of raffle/auction prizes
appointment of auctioneer
update of run sheet and appointment of MC
on the day welcome, raffle draw assembly, packup and cleanup.
event financial reconciliation and funds transfer to SALT.

Thanks to all those attending, participating and those bringing guests. It was a great morning.
